Alex Barr is a Certified Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator through Birthing Advocacy who has been supporting families throughout the Phoenix metro area and the Valley since 2020. She is also the owner and creator of the Dare to Birth childbirth education curriculum, which helps families prepare for pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period with confidence.

Alex is a passionate birth advocate whose mission is to disrupt the negative narrative around birth by empowering pregnant people to trust their intuition and make informed decisions throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the fourth trimester. She provides compassionate, evidence-based support to families giving birth both in and out of the hospital.

Alex proudly serves a diverse community and is queer-affirming and size-inclusive, creating a safe and supportive environment for all families preparing for birth in the Phoenix area.
