Vee Burk is a compassionate perinatal health specialist, birth activist, and cultural anthropologist dedicated to supporting mothers through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum transition. With a deep belief that caring for the mother is the foundation of a thriving family, Vee’s work centers on nurturing, educating, and empowering women during one of life’s most transformative experiences.
Her approach blends evidence-based birth support with traditional holistic postpartum care, including practices such as belly binding and placenta encapsulation. Vee specializes in supporting the physical, emotional, and cultural needs of expectant and new mothers, helping families feel prepared, confident, and deeply supported throughout the journey.
Vee holds a Master of Arts in Cultural Sustainability and a Bachelor of Science in Global Communications, bringing a unique cultural perspective to maternal care. She has trained and certified with respected organizations including DONA International, BEST (Birth & Education Support Training), and Foi en La Femme, and she is an active member of the Black Mamas Matter Alliance.
