Our overnight doulas maintain a restful but alert presence when your baby is sleeping after all assigned tasks have been completed. During these periods, doulas may engage in quiet activities such as reading or listening to audio content with headphones to remain accessible while respecting the household’s peaceful environment. Some doulas may take brief, light rest periods while maintaining full responsiveness to you or your baby’s immediate needs.
This approach ensures continuous care availability throughout the night while allowing our doulas to sustain their energy and attentiveness for optimal support.

We cannot sing and share loud enough. Our doula’s knowledge and work ethics were exactly what e needed for the first few weeks with our little guy. She helped us with everything from breastfeeding to developing a nighttime routine and showing us how to use all the baby gizmos.
More importantly, she came into our house a stranger but her warmth and professionalism allowed us to quickly trust her and build a wonderful foundation for caring for a newborn.

We tried a couple of other agencies before finding BYD. The care, comfort, and professionalism of these doulas were exactly what we were looking for. Plus the business ethics and professional way invoices were handled was far superior. Thank you!
