Giny is an experienced birth and postpartum newborn care specialist who has been working with women and their families for over ten years. As a registered medical assistant (RMA), phlebotomist, and EKG technician, Giny has worked with midwives, doctors, and pediatricians to support parents and babies during the postpartum period. Giny has worked with many preemies and multiples and her focus is to ensure that parent and baby can recover in a calming environment. Giny is patient and reliable. She is known for her calming spirit and the ability to meet each family at their point of need.

She found this work, after helping a woman deliver her baby on the side of the road while visiting family in Cuba. Ta that moment, it became clear that this was her calling.  Giny believes that every woman is intuitive and that with proper support and guidance, motherhood will bring them much joy. The statement “It takes a village” embodies this,  because at the end of the day, working as a team can make each dream come true.

Giny is currently working on her Certificated Lactation Consultant (CLC) certification. She specializes in working with clients with anxiety and postpartum depression. Additionally, she provides sleep training support by sleep shaping babies for when it’s time to “sleep train.”  Her long-term goal is to complete her midwifery studies while continuing to teach each family that she has the privilege of working with.

Giny is fluent in Spanish and French.
