Laura is a postpartum day doula based out of the DMV area. She specializes in newborn care and has a passion for supporting families through this transitional time. She provides all families with trauma-informed, empathetic, and respectful options for postpartum and infant care.
 
If clients express interest, Laura enjoys incorporating her background in bodywork, herbal steaming, and gua sha therapy into her doula work. These modalities can bring rest, and relieve engorgement, and clogged ducts. As well as neck, shoulder, back, hip, and vulva pain.

Laura values creating opportunities for families to rest and sharing knowledge and resources during the postpartum experience. Please reach out if you are wanting to feel more confident and supported in caring for your newborn.
